Flower Weekend in Glenridding – Saturday 19th – Sunday 20th March
After a winter of relentless storms the people of Glenridding are bringing colour back to the village before the Easter Holidays start and your welcome to join in!
After asking local suppliers to give flowers and planters mass planting will take place over the weekend, and chance to get your hands dirty and make your mark in the stunning Lake District.
Marmalade Maddness at Ullswater Steamers – Saturday 19th – Sunday 20th March
Visitors will receive free travel on the 9.45 sailings when you bring a full jar of marmalade! You will also enjoy complimentary toast on-board. Plus, you will be given an entry offer voucher for the Festival Weekend at Dalemain Historic Mansion & Gardens.
All marmalade that is given to us over the 19th and 20th March is donated to the Salvation Army. All dogs welcome on board any of our sailings. This event is free and does not need to be booked in advance.

With no engines, exhausts or fuel systems, they can be driven at the push of a button and will allow visitors who arrive either without a car or in larger vehicles to explore the nooks and crannies of the Lake District in a silent, eco-friendly way.
